1. What are the new concepts you have learned in crustal uplift and rock deformation, types of mountain and mountain building?

The new concepts that I have learned are;

• The different types of mountain

• Difference between faults and folds

2. What concepts you find too difficult to understand? And Why?

• I did not understand the types of uplift. This topic is hard to comprehend maybe because of some complicated terms.

3. In what situation you may apply the new concepts you have learned?

• Information about the faults and its destructive effects will assist us in terms of finding the right location of where your house is safe to position. In the Philippines, we have the five known active fault lines. You’re unlucky if your house is located in one of the lines.
