Oceans and Restless Oceans Part 1

1. What are the new concepts you have learned in composition and resources of sea water, layers of oceans, oceanography, continental margin, ocean basin floor and mid-ocean ridges, coral reefs and atolls, and sea floor sediments?

The new concepts that I have learned are;

• The layers of ocean and what makes it up

• The different types of coral reefs based on its structure

• The different types of sea floor sediments

2. What concepts you find too difficult to understand? And Why?

• I find hard to differentiate the dissimilarity between continental shelf and continental slope.

3. In what situation you may apply the new concepts you have learned?

• I can apply the new concept that I have learned when fishing. At least I know where can I obtain more fishes.
