Renewable and Non renewable Sources of Energy Part 2

1. What are the new concepts you have learned in hydro power and tidal power, wind energy, biomass and dendrothermal?

The new concepts that I have learned are;

• The different processes in order to produce energy

• The concept of hydro power happens in river, lakes and streams while tidal power in ocean.

2. What concepts you find too difficult to understand? And Why?

• The main difference between the concept of biomass and dendrothermal where they both use trees to provide energy.

3. In what situation you may apply the new concepts you have learned?

• The fact that these are all renewable energy technologies gives you the idea that it has a much lower environmental impact compared to conventional energy technologies. Having this knowledge about renewable resources, I can help to lower the global warming by promoting this kind of technologies.
